Herbal Supplies
Natural Equine Health offers horse owners 100% natural, high quality, human grade herbs. Packed in 1kg sealed bags, our herbal blends and individual herbs contain no additives. The blended herbal formulations are made to last the average sized horse 400-450kg approximately 30 days.
The directions on our labels state to soak the herbs in boiling water for approximately 10 minutes. This is often referred to as infusing (like a tea) and allows the herbs to be more effective. Once the herbs have been soaked they can be added to the rest of the feed once daily including the water.
Although we offer a large range of broad based herbal blends for a variety of conditions, we also find it of vital importance to remember that like humans, horses are all individuals. It is for this reason that Natural Equine Health offers individual blends for horses which are made especially for each horse's individual needs.
It is also important to note that herbs work well in conjunction with veterinary advise as well as training techniques and diet. If in doubt always consult your vet. If you wish to seek advice on diet, as an Equine Nutritionist , Sue can help suggest a diet which best suits your horse.

Use at times of stress, panic, anxiety, fear and nervousness. Great for horses who become unsettled when showing of travelling as well as at times of severe panic or stress such as after an accident. Apply Arnica cream to any lumps, bumps, bruises and sprains as well as joints and tendons. Ingredients - Arnica oil, essential oils of Peppermint and Juniper with Benzoin resin in a vegetable oil base. Do not apply to broken skin. |

| Calendula Tincture 20ml or 120ml | Calendula Tincture can be made into a wash and used for its antiseptic and healing properties. For sores such as those caused by allergies, add 30 drops to a teacup of water and wash wounds. Combine Calendula and Yarrow tincture for bleeding wounds straight and apply pressure to stop the bleeding. |
