Natural Equine Health is now stocking PZ bits which are extremly comfortable for horses mouths . They will offer more tongue and bar relief  as well as less pressure on the corner of the mouth than that of traditional jointed snaffles.

This will result in a horse that has more opportunity to work  softer through the poll and therefore a better ability to extend the muscles, allowing the for ease and comfort rather than movement under duress.

Having the "horse jammed" up on the front end  means the horse cannot engage the hind quarters as well as they should thus resulting in the horse finding it difficult to keep  a natural comfortable line/frame. This will result in poor range of movement, poor posture and compromised performance.
